Boots in the Winter

It's getting colder, so it's time to bust out those boots! With winter outfits, you can play with a bunch of different layers, and mix and match various accessories. Boots are by far my favorite type of shoe because they're so versatile and can go with almost any outfit.

Every girl should own a pair of brown/cognac boots; they're like the little black dress of boots. Depending on your style, you may like boots with zippers, heels, buckles, laces--the possibilities are endless! A great boot to start off with is Steve Madden's Intyce in Cognac. It's simple and classy with a little bit of a heel to give you that extra boost. This would look great over a pair of skinny jeans and a tunic, or a long sleeve shirt and scarf. Throw a pea coat over it and you're ready to go out in the cold weather.

Just because it's winter doesn't mean the summer dresses have to go away. My favorite way to wear brown boots in the winter is with a dress or skirt and tights. The Glamorous, Bird Print Belted Dress or Paisley Ruffled Halter Dress would look really cute with black tights, a cardigan, and a pair of brown boots.

Another great boot to own is a pair of black lace up boots. They can really give some edge to your entire outfit and style. Match these up with leggings/tights, a skirt, and a cute top for a different winter look. These boots also look great over skinny jeans with a chunky infinity scarf and a beanie to complete the style.

There are a lot of different types of heeled boots, but they are all chic and elegant no matter which style you choose. They're perfect for the office or a date night, pairing perfectly with any dress or skirt.

Boots are a must-have in every girl's closet, regardless of the type of style you like. They're the perfect cold-weather shoe that is stylish and keeps you warm too. Pair your boots with a cute pair of boot cuffs to really keep your legs warm. It's nice to have multiple types of boots in different colors in your wardrobe so you can pick the perfect one to go with your outfit.
